Need recommendation for Cork tile adhesive

Added December 20th, 2005

Q. I recently repaired a dry rotted section of cork floor. I luckily still have some of the original tiles that were used on the floor. I have read that wood adhesive is usually used for cork tile. Can anyone recommend which product I should use?

A: Cork flooring products most often recommend their own specific adhesives. Knowing the brand will help you figure out if you need to use cork adhesive, as sometimes its possible to just float the floor if the instructions recommend it. You can try Eurocork's adhesive. You need about 32 oz for 50 square feet.
