Bamboo floor installation at
stair threshold

Q. I had a bamboo
floor installed in my kitchen that was a tounge and groove
style. The installer failed to install the threshold at the
top of the stairs leading to the basement. The floorboards
at the top of the stairs are uneven. How do I go about installing
this threshold?
A: For a flush nose, you need a straight cut to butt
your nosing. Make sure the bottm lip is tight to the riser.
Everything pretty much has to be perfect.
