Q. What's the best way to let bamboo
flooring planks acclimate into the new room it is being
installed in??
A: You should do moisture tests. The different in
the moisture content of the flooring and sub flooring should
be no greater than 2%. If you can't do this, most manufacturers
recommend a 2 week acclimation period with the planks spread
out in the room they will be in. Any HVAC systems should be
running and doors and windows closed. Temperature and humidity
should be at normal occupancy levels.
